Ms. Cleo Makes a Comeback

Home: Lake Worth, FL
Occupation: Voodoo Priestess and gay rights activist
Age: Somewhere around 50
Children: Three daughters
Personal: In relationship for one year
Best known as the face – and accent -- of the Federally-indicted Psychic Readers Network, Miss Cleo is a pop icon turned gay rights activist who, these days, is even struggling with empty nest syndrome.
In 2002, she was cleared on charges of deceptive advertising, billing and collection practices, although the company she worked for paid millions in fines for selling fake psychic readings at $4.95 a minute.
In the years since, she’s sold psychic readings at $200 a pop, appeared in a commercial for a used car lot in Broward County, released a spoken word poetry CD, and even voiced a Haitian gang leader character, Auntie Poulet, in the Rockstar Games title “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.”
She said she’s now working on a new television show about relationships and break-ups – but won’t disclose any more information than that.
