Les Bijoux has added to its ever-growing Dream Team of boutiques at Mizner Park with the recent opening of Hublot, the luxury Swiss timepiece brand known, among other things, for introducing the first watch that featured a natural rubber strap.

The opening represents another first for Hublot as it launches its inaugural U.S. boutiques - in addition to the Boca store, the brand also opened a boutique in Bal Harbour. Hublot has plans to open another U.S. boutique in New York in February, with Los Angeles also scheduled for a stand-alone store.

After an unofficial opening last month, Hublot held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony this week at the Mizner Park store that included an appearance by CEO Jean-Claude Biver, who is credited with reviving the brand (originally founded in 1980) after it lost its mojo. Biver once again has customers clamoring for Hublot, in large part due to a philosophy described as "the art of fusion." The watch-making vision, as stated in various press materials on the company, calls for "the combination of unexpected material - ceramic, carbon, tungsten, titanium, magnesium - with conventional materials and cutting-edge technology" to create works of timekeeping art.

The space at Mizner Park includes a VIP room built especially with the Boca client in mind. The addition of Hublot further raises the already high profile of Les Bijoux, whose other boutiques include Jaeger Le Coultre, F.P. Journe and Van Cleef & Arpels.
