I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Due to a crazy holiday schedule, I’m going to be “on vacation,” as far as my money-saving articles go, through December, unless something specific comes to mind.

Between now and the beginning of the year, my best money-saving advice is to stick to your budget and don’t go into debt to buy gifts. Instead, consider more personal homemade gifts, or offer services (such as housecleaning, yard work, meal preparation, babysitting, etc.) that will bless your friends and family without costing you money. In fact, below are a few links to check out for gifts in a jar:

Organized Christmas

All Free Crafts

Tip Junkie

I’m sure there are plenty more, but those were a few I found that I thought you might enjoy.

Also, start making a list of items you need. If you don’t receive them as gifts, watch for them to go on sale right after Christmas.   However, you will want to be aware of the prices on these items now so you will know if it’s truly on a good sale later.

So, enjoy your holidays and I’ll be back in January!

Now on to some other good stuff:

All You Magazine December 2011 Coupon List – Mama’s Frugal Finds has been kind enough to provide a list of coupons that will be in Walmart’s All You Magazine for December.  You can check it out here to see if you want to stop by and pick up a copy. I believe it retails for $2.49 per issue if you buy it at Walmart, but you can get a subscription for $1.66 per issue here.  However, I will tell you that sometimes the subscription version has fewer coupons than the newsstand version.

Walmart Deals – If you’re a Walmart shopper, I highly recommend checking out Iheartthemart.comfor the best deals.
