The buzz already is beginning for Delray Marketplace, the 258,000-square-foot shopping, restaurant and entertainment center set to open in west Delray Beach later this year. 

The sprawling project, spearheaded by SIKON Construction Company out of Deerfield Beach, is at the northwest corner of West Atlantic Avenue and Lyons Road. In addition to a a 46,000-square-foot Publix, the plaza is expected to include a 12-screen Frank Theatres—and even a 16-lane bowling alley. 

Among the shopping and restaurant offerings expected to open: White House Black Market, Charming Charlie, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, and Bobby Chan Apparel (on the retail side); and restaurants Max’s Grille, Japango Sushi Thai Asian Cuisine, Shula Burger and Terra Fiamma.
