We never need an excuse to go shopping, but it always helps when we have one.

This Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., shop guilt-free at Bloomingdale’s in Town Center at Boca Raton. Bloomingdale’s will be hosting an exclusive LAGOS jewelry trunk show, and 10 percent of tracked sales from the event will be donated to Autism Speaks.

Attendees will have an opportunity to shop the beautiful collection of charms, chains and stones, while enjoying light refreshments and informal modeling.

Designer Debbie Brooks will also be available to the public, showcasing her artistic handbags and accessories. Her popular purses and wristlets (often sparkled with Swarovski crystals and diamond dust) have been a hit among Hollywood’s “A-listers” and were recently featured on Extra.

Donations will benfit Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism advocacy organization. Since its inception in 2005, the organization has raised $173 million toward autism research and resources for families.
