More than 70 local restaurants and 45 wineries and breweries from around the world will be dishing/pouring their wares at the 17th annual Las Olas Food & Wine Festival, set to take over downtown Fort Lauderdale on Friday, April 20.
The bash, which benefits the American Lung Association, runs from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on a stretch of Las Olas from Sixth to 11th avenues. Tickets are $100 per person and can be obtained at http://www.lasolaswff.com/tickets.
Just a few of the participating restaurants are 3030 Ocean, Casa D’Angelo, Johnny V, Market 17 and Rocco’s Tacos. Wineries include Concha y Toro, Frescobaldi, Hess Collection, Martin Codax and Murphy-Goode.
But wait, there’s more. Like the Bombay Sapphire Lounge, live music, a fashion show and Battle Cupcake.
There are some pre and post events too, like a pairing of Spanish wines and tapas at Preston’s Martini Lounge in the Riverside Hotel and a matchup of tastes from Rocco’s Tacos with Milagro tequilas, both set for Wednesday, April 18; food and wine from Tuscan Grill and Banfi Vintners at Tuscan Grill on Thursday, April 19; and a bit of brunching at The Cheese Culture with Villa Sandi prosecco on Saturday, April 21. Tickets and details for each of these are available at www.lasolaswff.com/events/.
