Louis Vuitton, the luxurious luggage and handbag collection (that really needs no introduction), is coming to Miami in just a few weeks.

The high-end French fashion house will open a temporary location (170 NE 40th Street) in Miami’s Design District on Friday, October 19. The temp store will be replaced by a permanent location in the heart of the arty area in 2014.

To give the South Florida store an added touch, Louis Vuitton has hired famed graffiti writer Marquis Lewis (aka RETNA) to create a mural on the shop’s facade. This will be the first time Louis Vuitton has collaborated with an artist to design original work for a North American store.

Want an extra sneak peek?

The main entrance opens into a “Travel Room,” where customers can shop a variety of classic trunks, luggage and travel-specific accessories. The ground floor will be furnished with Parisian furniture and will showcase men’s and women’s leathergoods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, eyewear and textiles.

There will be a private salon on the second floor to provide a more intimate shopping experience for clients, and will also feature RENTA’s beautiful artwork.

So get your wallets ready, or get ready to buy a new one, and head south!
