I’m not saying Santa Claus is Italian, but the jolly old fat man is making an appearance at Brio Tuscan Grille (5050 Town Center Circle, Boca Raton, 561/392-3777).
That would be on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., when Santa (presumably sans reindeer and elves) will show up to remind kids (as if they need reminding) that Christmas is on the way, and they better get those requests for presents in early. There will be other fun stuff for the rugrats too, like face-painting, balloon artists, faux snowfall every 15 minutes and the chance to get their picture taken with Papa Noel.
Brio is also laying in a breakfast, with dishes like frittata al forno and berries ‘n’ cream french toast for big kids, and french toast and scrambled eggs for the little kids. Cost is $11.95 for adults and $5.95 for children. Oh, and if you bring an unwrapped gift to donate to the Children’s Home Society of Florida, you might win a $50 gift certificate at Brio.
You need to make reservations, though, which can be done by calling the restaurant.
