It’s a party for your mouth and the rest of you at the new Le Rendez-vous (221 Datura St., 561/766-1095) in West Palm, a French-inspired restaurant-slash-niteclub from two Parisian brothers.

Olivier and Edouard Delrieu created the lounge-ish, industro-chic space to blend French food, culture and entertainment, from the menu of simple, everyday French classics to the screening of soccer matches and old French movies to the DJs playing house music during the day and live music on special occasions.

Among chef Vincent Toscano’s creations are such traditional dishes as escargot and cassoulet, along with soups, salads, quiches, tartes and a roster of burgers, from chicken and tuna to beef with foie gras and onion compote. Prices will make you say, “Ooh, la-la,” with only a handful of dishes breaking the $15 barrier and most hovering around $10. Sounds like a party for your wallet too. . .
