You gotta hand it to the folks at Boca’s Pinon Grill (6000 Glades Rd., 561/391-7770) for putting three of life’s greatest eating and drinking pleasures together in one easily (too easily, perhaps) consumable package.
It’s called the Dirty Pig Martini, which consists of Tito’s Handmade Vodka (immodestly speaking, my own personal favorite), a bit of olive brine and three fat “queen-sized” olives stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in. . . wait for it. . . crispy strips of bacon.
It’s a nifty bit of boozy synergy, as olives make vodka better, blue cheese makes olives better and bacon makes everything better. The Dirty Pig will set you back $12, but if you show up at Pinon Grill’s happy hour (Monday through Friday, 4 to 7 p.m.) you can take advantage of the BOGO special. Oink. . .
