This month, Elektrik Boutique was added to the roster of Las Olas fashion boutiques amidst much fanfare. If you’re going to be on the Boulevard anyways, finding some time to savor some eye candy is always a good idea. The good thing is there is no need for a battle of the sexes, because Elektrik has fashions for him and her in separate rooms and a wet bar to boot. Six degrees of square foot separation can be wonderful when shopping.

Elektrik features creations from J. Lindeberg, Psycho Bunny, AG Denim, DV by Dolce Vita, Yumi Kim and a few local designers as well. Opening day had Zhantra dancers add to the eclectic vibe. Owners Stacy Goren and Rory Dougherty Jr. have considerable amount of fashion and entrepreneurial experience. Goren doubles up as a buyer and sources finds from across country— New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas and LA.

Below are a few finds we thought were click-worthy:

Headband by Pink Pewter: $42. Spark up a little black dress for a night on the town.

Stripe Skirt by Alythea: $45. Sheer Parisian chic. Vogue confirms classic monochromes are big through fall and winter and are just good to have.

Pink Top by Lulu Marie $59. Teamed with a black or white skirt, you can’t go wrong with fuchsia. We love the tailcoat look.

Cream Skirt by Dress The Population $120. The blush pink bordering on neutral and the hi-low hemline is so feminine.
