Hôpital Albert Schweitzer: White Hot Night

The event, "White Hot Night," is co-chaired by Palm Beach residents Anna Mann, Louise Stephaich and Tom Quick. This year's White Hot Night will feature a cocktail reception, live auction, a seated dinner and entertainment. Jay Cashmere, anchor for WPTV-TV News Channel 5 and WFLX-TV Fox 29, will serve as emcee. Tickets are $500.

Connoisseur Concert Series: Concert 4

An artist of outstanding versatility, conductor James Judd is widely acclaimed for his passionate musicianship and his charismatic presence on the podium. He served as music director of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Zealand Symphony, and he was recently appointed Curator of the Broward Center’s Performing Arts Classical Series and Director of the Little Orchestra Society of New York.

Jeffrey Kaye enjoys a diverse career spanning the spectrum from chamber and orchestral music to jazz. He performs as principal trumpet with the Miami City Ballet Orchestra, the prestigious IRIS Orchestra, and The Symphonia. Recent solo appearances include the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Eastern Festival Orchestra, and Milwaukee Symphony.

The SYMPHONIA: Inaugural Apollo Awards for Musical Excellence with Tony Orlando

The evening will include a 7 p.m. cocktail reception and an 8 p.m. award presentation, which will include a performance by guest star Tony Orlando. Adrienne Arsht Center Ninth Anniversary Gala

Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning international superstar Barry Manilow will wow guests with a concert at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-with a special tribute to Frank Sinatra in honor of Frank’s 100th birthday. For the Arsht Center’s annual celebration, the Center will transform the Ziff Ballet Opera House into an intimate “supper club” with cocktails, dinner, and dancing directly on the Lynn Wolfson Stage.

The 9th anniversary gala will once again be chaired by two of South Florida’s most esteemed members of the philanthropic community, Swanee and Paul DiMare. Adrienne Arsht, the Center’s name benefactor, will serve as honorary chair. Margaret and Mike Eidson will serve as Gala co-chairs.
