Community leaders and cultural arts supporters gathered at an intimate, preconcert event held by the Boca Raton Symphonia in the home of local resident, Patti Carpenter. Guests enjoyed an ensemble performance by symphonia musicians and the opportunity to meet SuJin Lee, 17, the cello soloist protégé of Itzhak Perlman. Composer Gunther Schuller, Pulitzer Prize winner and two-time Guggenheim Fellowship recipient, also attended the exclusive event. The Boca Raton Symphonia was selected as the official orchestra of the Festival of the Arts Boca 2011.
