The University Club of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation, Inc., held a cocktail reception at the Delray Beach Club to honor Dr. Mary Jane Saunders, the new president of FAU. Saunders and FAU Foundation Board of Directors leaders have decided to match new and increased contributions to student scholarships through the President's Scholarship Challenge Fund. On behalf of the University Club, its president Marlis Hadeed presented FAU's sixth president with a $5,000 check toward the fund. The nearly 60 guests who came out enjoyed music by jazz group The Uwallo Messengers.
