A 1920s-themed fundraiser hosted by The Palm Beach Flappers at The Beach Club brought out more than 350 friends and supporters of the late Cathleen McFarlane Ross, who founded the Flappers group to increase awareness and raise funds for Palm Beach County’s homeless population. She helped to grow The Lord’s Place and establish the St. Ann’s Place Hygiene Center, which provide services to the homeless. Guests dressed in '20s attire at the speakeasy-themed event, which featured singing, dancing, a buffet and live music by Skip Francis and his band. The event reeled in nearly $200,000 for programs aiding Palm Beach County's growing homeless population.
