Nearly 175 women gathered at the elegant Boca Rio Country Club to celebrate the announcement of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of South Palm Beach County’s grant awards. A total of $135,000 was granted towards projects that benefit women and girls in our local community, Israel and Central Russia. Grants were awarded in the areas of abuse prevention, educational opportunities, and health and welfare. Founded in 2003, JWF has allocated a total of almost $250,000 over the last five years.
