After toying with the idea of treating myself to a massage for many months now, National Spa Week, taking place on the East Coast October 11 through 17, gave me the perfect excuse to finally pamper myself. For only $50 instead of the typical $114 cost, I was able to book a 90-minute session for next week at a local Massage Envy.

The dozens of alluring $50 options available locally include Woodhouse Day Spa in Parkland’s 50-minute Organic Sugar Scrub Pedicure, Dessange Paris Salon & Spa in Fort Lauderdale’s 60-minute Glow Facial and Eden Day Spa in Boca Raton’s 45-minute Eden Essential Massage. In fact, 26 spas in the tri-country area are each offering two or three signature services worth $80 or more for just $50. You’ll want to contact the spa you are interested in to set up an appointment as soon as possible, as time slots may be limited.
Spa Week was started in 2004 in New York in order to make spa services more accessible to the masses and build awareness of their health benefits. Nowmore than 700 spas in more than 29 cities throughout the country participate.
