Andrew’s Restaurant Opens in Boca

Seared Hudson Valley foie gras, with raisin toast, toast foam, Sour Patch cherries and Savannah honeycomb, and crispy bronzino with preserved fennel, shaved fennel, Moroccan olives, endive batons, fennel oil and sun-dried tomato emulsion are just a couple of the not same ol’, same ol’ dishes on the menu at the new Andrew’s Restaurant (99 SE Mizner Blvd., 561/391-7939) in Boca Raton.

Exec chef Roberto Hernandez, an alum of Barton G. and the Blue Door in Miami and Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, is manning the stoves at the restaurant, which in addition to a 200-seat dining room and canopied outdoor patio, also features a bar-lounge with nightly live music that stays open until 2 a.m.

Andrew’s, in the old Il Marco space, is open for dinner daily.
