Avocado Grill Spotlights Chefs in “Spices From Around the World”

Executive Chef Julien Gremaud of West Palm Beach’s Avocado Grill is bringing a couple of pals to cook with him on Sept. 26. But it’s not just any dinner—along with donating a portion of the proceeds to No Kid Hungry, his kitchen-mates will be Zach Bell of the Addison Reserve Country Club in Delray Beach, and Pushkar Marathe of Miami’s Ghee Indian Kitchen.

They promise “exciting spiced dishes packed with international flare,” and I know those chefs will deliver on that promise. Tickets for the five-course dinner are $120, excluding tax/gratuity, and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required.

Rhythm Café wine dinner celebrates Italy

Still one of the best deals around are wine dinners at longtime West Palm Beach favorite Rhythm Café. On Sept. 13, you’ll find a five-course dinner pairing dishes such as white bean cake with sun-dried tomato/cream sauce with a Trulli Vermentino; an orecchiette dish with bacon, spinach, basil, tomato, asiago paired with a Trulli primitivo, and more. Tickets are $75 each, excluding tax/gratuity, and reservations are required.
