Michael Gora sees the parallels in his profession and his hobby. The Boca attorney and photo enthusiast will tell you that snapping an image requires as much attention to detail and imagination as practicing law.
But the disciplines, he’ll also tell you, quickly diverge when it comes to one specific area.
“In the courtroom, you have to follow the rules,” he says. “Art has no rules.”
Gora’s brings that philosophy to the black and white photography that is on display through Nov. 9 at the Delray Beach Library (100 W. Atlantic Ave.). In recent years, Gora’s photography has been featured in galleries from South Florida to Colorado to Illinois to Massachusetts.
