Boca Ballroom Battle Dancers Hit The Big Time

Nothing keeps a good charity down—especially when it’s on a mission to help kids who can’t afford it go to college. This year, The George Snow Scholarship Fund will forego the big splashy live event called the Boca Ballroom Battle for a big splashy TV production on WPTV—delivered to your home on September 26 at either 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. (Exact time will be announced shortly).

This hour-long Boca Ballroom Battle extravaganza will highlight some of Boca’s most illustrious leaders dancing their hearts out in front of a massive television audience—that will be able to make pledges throughout the program. It will be our own “Dancing With The Stars,” for real—with watch parties all over the place, and dancers drumming up support all summer. Proceeds benefit the worthy George Snow scholars—kids across our area who have everything it takes to succeed in college, except the funds.

This year’s Ballroom dancers have been announced (drum roll, please), who are warriors of compassion, and about to be TV stars. They are:

Steven Bernstein, Founder & Chairman, SBA Communications Corporation

Robin Bresky, Founder & President, The Law Offices of Robin Bresky

Dr. Gwenesia S. Collins, Assistant Vice President of Clinical Ancillary Services, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Respiratory, Community Outreach and Population Health, Boca Raton Regional Hospital

William Donnell, President & Chief Executive Officer, NCCI

Eric M. Kelly, President, Quantum Foundation

Tara Lucier, Talent Acquisition Manager, Inspirage

Kirsten Stanley, Director of Operations, Tammy Fender Holistic Skin Care

Kyle Stewart, Vice President-Investments PIM Portfolio Manager, Wells Fargo

If you want to help get this party started, buy a sponsorship: they start at $2,000. Please visit www.scholarship.org/ballroom-battle/ for more information.
