Get ready, because I’m going to reveal the biggest non-secret among Boca moms: They live for the ‘gram. (That’s Instagram for any novices out there.)
Let’s be honest, social media in general can be a mom’s actual lifeline. Whether she’s nursing a baby at 2 in the morning or waiting in car line in the afternoon, where there’s a Boca mom and her smartphone…there’s kid content just waiting to be uploaded and shared.
As a blogger, I can appreciate when someone (mom or not) really takes the time to edit a gorgeous photo and curate their feed on Instagram. To kick off 2019 (and as an update to one of my first ever Boca Mom Talk posts), I’ve selected my latest local mom favorites for you to watch (and follow!) on Instagram in the New Year!
The Girl Mom

With two young daughters, @styleashinboca is fully invested in making the most of her kids’ childhood…and then taking it to a whole other level. Ashley of So·Style·Ash makes mom life in Boca Raton look…well…really fancy. From an extravagant camp-themed birthday party in the Boca Resort’s tower suite for her 6-year-old (#troopbocaraton) to her girls’ impressive wardrobes (faux fur anyone?), I always look forward to seeing what will happen next in their seemingly charmed Boca lives. I also enjoy Ashley’s “Real Housewives” fashion commentary in her Instagram stories. Not sorry.
In her feed: Expect to see photos of her daughters in adorable matching outfits and snippets of mom’s designer handbag and shoe collection. Let’s just say this Boca mom has a soft (leather) spot for Valentino.

One’s a mom of two girls, the other’s got one. Either way, these local moms always keep it real…and their followers love it! After her marriage fell apart with her young daughter in tow, marketing expert Michelle Dempsey of @themichelledempsey, made it her business to show other moms that divorce doesn’t have to define you or your business.
Rachel Sobel of @whineandcheezits started a blog and openly shares the full realities of having a baby with her second husband while raising a tween. Spoiler alert: It’s not easy. Both accounts showcase their humorous outlooks on motherhood as well as their adventures together as friends. I especially love Rachel’s #DontHurtYourselfIllJustDoIt vignettes of her family’s “less than perfect” housekeeping moments. (I also recommend her cooking tutorials via Instagram stories—hysterical!).
In their feeds: Expect to see hilarious mom quotes, real-life moments (Michelle just got engaged over the New Year!) and cute photos of their girls. You can also see that these Instagram besties fully support each other both online and off.

After scrolling through this Instagram account, I now have hope that raising two boys could actually turn out to be somewhat glamorous! I love watching the @southfloridamommy on her adventures around South Florida with her sons. She hits all of the usual spots, but she does it in s-t-y-l-e! (Trust me, it’s easier said than done.)
