For 23 years, Boca Regional’s Annual Golf Tournament has been recognized as one of the premier golf events in South Florida for many reasons, but ultimately, it is the importance of the initiative, benefitting the Ron & Kathy Assaf Center for Excellence in Nursing, that motivates its supporters. This meaningful fundraiser enables the hospital to recruit and retain top-quality nurses, and ensures its staff has the professional tools to provide the best possible care for patients.
With the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospital pivoted its format to a month long fundraising effort during November and implemented a fun, creative and interactive appeal. With the support of honorary chairs, Stanley Barry and Jerry Glassman, and co-chairs, Amy Ross and Judi Larkin, fundraising efforts are invigorated with an even greater passion and commitment to honor Boca Regional’s nurses and frontline healthcare heroes.
This November, why not get out of the house for a great round of golf–while socially distanced, of course. Simply sign your foursome up for either an 18-hole or 9-hole golf scramble. You can play on any par 72 (18-hole) or par 36 (9-hole) course. Registration has already started, and will go through November 19, 2020 at 2 p.m., but you will play your scramble round any day between November 1, 2020 and November 22, 2020. Each 18-hole registered player will receive a Bushnell Wingman GPS Golf Speaker featuring high quality audio combined with having the ability to receive audible GPS distances. Plus, each 18-hole & 9-hole registered player will receive admission to view a Virtual Celebrity Golf Pro Clinic with Morgan Pressel.
