The new high-end yoga and athletic apparel store is replacing Lululemon’s previous showroom in Royal Palm Place.
The new location is almost unmissable, with shards and swipes of color decorating the entrance. Inside is a yogi’s dream.
Lululemon is packed with candy-colored attire– turquoise racerback tanks, magenta yoga mats and plum-waisted pants. Bins of bright hair ties are scattered throughout, and sleek water bottles and backpacks line the walls.
The brand states its apparel is for “yoga, running, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits”. Their mission is “to create components for people to live long, healthy, and fun lives”.
This store is for the serious athlete.
While colors are important, it is ultimately the textures, fabrics and fit of Lululemon’s clothing which makes the brand so popular. Their apparel is crafted with thoughtful air vents, chafe-resistant seems, anti-bacterial fibers, elasticity, and anti-stink properties– all of which helps keep you dry, cool, comfortable and fashionable.
In addition to athletic wear, each Lululemon store offers complimentary, public yoga classes.
Local Lululemon Ambassador Leslie Glickman, of Yoga Journey, helped kick off the day with an 8:30 a.m. class. Celebrations will continue all weekend with Saturday and Sunday morning Vinyasa yoga classes being offered at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.
Lululemon is yet another significant addition to Town Center, which has recently welcomed Wolford, Anne Fontaine, Betsey Johnson, Men’s Express and Bare Escentuals. To read more about Lululemon and other new Town Center stores, check out our most recent issue (Boca Raton Magazine, July/August 2011).
