Two Brunches to Add to Your List: Crazy Uncle Mike’s and Trophy Room

Brunch done to extremes: Crazy Uncle Mike’s

Crazy Uncle Mike’s gets crazy again with the new Let’s Get Bottomless Weekend Brunch. This means live music with DJ on Saturdays, band on Sundays, craft beer, bottomless mimosas and beer Bloody Marys. Plus, Executive Chef Tara Abrams (formerly of 32 East) creates rich menu items such as the sweet potato pancakes and fried chicken tenders (pictured above) for that sweet/salty craving. You could order the Coffee Oatmeal Porter (thanks to Brewmaster Corey Wilson) and satisfy that caffeine/beer longing, too. Just sayin’. Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brunch that lasts past the weekend: Trophy Room

Trophy Room (LibbyVision Inc.)

The new Trophy Room restaurant in Wellington has started serving lunch daily, and brunch on Saturday, Sunday and Monday! That’s a good excuse to take a three-day weekend. Executive Chef Josephy Bonavita, Jr. is heading the kitchen there. Brunch hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Plus lunch and dinner daily the rest of the week, too. Bright spot for dog lovers—pooches are allowed on the patio.
