As if to prove that you can never be too rich, too thin or too Italian, restaurateurs Roberto Cavaliere and Stefano Paggetti have added one more dining option to the local mix with the debut of their Casa Mia Trattoria & Pizzeria (337 E. Indiantown Rd., Jupiter, 561/972-6888).
Chef Isidoro Giorsetti’s menu includes a roster of Italian favorites, from Caesar and caprese salads to gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce and house-made pappardelle with wild boar ragout to chicken Milanese and grilled Black Angus strip steak. A wood-fired pizza oven imported from Italy is the source of eight thin-crusted pies.
The restaurant also features a full bar, 100 mostly Italian wines (with 20 by the “quartino,” or one-and-a-half glasses), and a list of mixological cocktails.
Design elements include a pair of dining rooms with rustic flourishes like leather upholstery and wrought-iron chandeliers, an outdoor patio with water fountain and lounge. Casa Mia is open for lunch and dinner daily with a 3 to 7 p.m. happy hour.
