There are as many ways to celebrate National Wine Day as there are grape varietals (that would be more than 10,000, by the way!), so start planning to celebrate on May 25.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & RestaurantÂ
You can enjoy dishes that include the company’s wines as ingredients, or ask for a basic tasting flight that includes eight wines for $7. The Gardens Mall, 3101 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens; 561/209-8466; chwinery.com
BRIO Tuscan GrilleÂ
From May 25 to 29, bottles of wine for $75 or less will be half-price. All locations, including Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens; brioitalian.com
Café Boulud
Start celebrating a day early on May 24 and buy a ticket to the restaurant’s Oregon four-course wine dinner. Beginning at 6:45 p.m. with a reception, this dinner planned by Chefs Rick Mace and Julie Franceschini will highlight the five wines that range from a pinot gris to a Gewurztraminer with dessert. Tickets are $130 per person, excluding tax/gratuity. Brazilian Court Hotel, 301 Australian Ave., Palm Beach; 561/655-6060; cafeboulud.com/palmbeach
Movie Bistro opens at Cinemark Palace 20 and XD
Joining the upscale places that offer full meals (such as the mahi mahi, pictured) and a full bar is Movie Bistro, which opened last week at Boca Raton’s Cinemark Palace 20 and XD. It’s on the Premier Level and serves lunch, dinner and happy hour. The restaurant seats 249, and sports an adult game room and TVs. From now through June 1, you can buy one, get one free lunch there. 3200 Airport Road, Boca Raton
