Make a chocolate pizza with colorful candy toppings, or make your own chocolate molds of bears, sea life, dinosaurs and more. These are just two classes hosted by Hoffman’s Chocolates—they are scheduled for today, among other dates. The pizza class is $14.95 per person, the chocolate molds class is $9.95 per person. That’s a steal for a fun time where you’re sure to eat some very good chocolate.
Or sign up for building your own chocolate house (pictured above), make caramel apples, a chocolate picture frame (you can also make an edible photo inside the frame), or make your own chocolate bar. All of these classes are offered this summer Monday through Fridays, on different days at different times. The fun will be at the Hoffman’s Chocolate Factory, Shoppe & Gardens in Greenacres. Head online for details.
Bloomers Frosé mix makes cooling off a bit easier
The Broward company Bloomers Frozen Drinks has delivered its latest product to a bar near you: Bloomers Frosé, a ready-to-use, rosé mixer.
The mix makes a quick, slushy cocktail when blended with rose, prosecco or Sauvignon blanc. It also means the non-alcoholic version is oh-so-easy. In Palm Beach County, you can find it at E.R. Bradley’s Saloon in West Palm Beach, Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar in Delray Beach, Old Key Lime House in Lantana, Lilo’s Street Food and Bar in Lake Worth, and Max’s Grill in Boca Raton.
Lynn Kalber was raised in Boca Raton and has always worked in Palm Beach and Broward counties. She is a career journalist, with 26 years at The Palm Beach Post alone, where she wrote feature and food articles, edited the food section and wrote about wine as part of the Swirl Girls.
