Dine and Discover Kicks Off at Bonefish Grill; Latin Wine & Food Festival Starts Soon

Kick off National Seafood Month (isn’t that every month in Florida?!) with a special from Bonefish Grill (21065 Powerline Road; 561/483-4949). Starting Oct. 4, a Dine and Discover menu is a different kind of deal. It offers the Bang Bang Shrimp, entrees for two people, plus dessert, for $50. Not a bad deal for a date night!

The entrees include a cedar plank maple bourbon salmon (pictured), swordfish with pumpkin ravioli or wild snapper and shrimp. And if you’re interested, $9 per glass wines are available from a 90-point ratings list, too. And cocktails. And beer. And we think it’s time for dinner already.

Speaking of wines, if you indulge at home you probably have an enormous collection of corks. Or you toss a large amount of them and feel guilty. (A bit, right?) During this Dine & Discovery time, Bonefish has paired with ReCORK, an alliance of businesses working to collect and recycle the natural corks. Bonefish Grill also has restaurants in Boynton Beach, Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens.

Gear up for Sabor & Vino, the Latin Food & Wine Festival

It’s also National Hispanic Heritage Month, and on Oct. 13 that brings Sabor & Vino, the Latin Food & Wine Festival, to Downtown at the Gardens, 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave., Palm Beach Gardens. From 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., for $50 per person ($40 online tickets here), enjoy food from a long list of Palm Beach County restaurants (Cabo Flats, La Bamba, Don Ramon, Calaveras Cantina, Sabor Latino, Tijuana Flats, Café Chardonnay, Alicia’s, Texas de Brazil, Tacos al Carbon and more), wine and beer tastings, and lots of music and dancing. For more info: 561/837-8066.
