Dining Experiences to Enjoy This Week

February is the beautiful, busy time for SoFla events, with lots of folks visiting and Mother Nature being cooperative with (usually) gorgeous weather. Here are some more experiences to consider this week:

Artists and wine: The creative endeavors of art and winemaking will be featured Feb. 7 at The Heart of Delray Gallery, with 80 artists displaying their creations, and a different wine in each artist studio. This 11,000-square-foot gallery is a popular venue, along with the outside courtyard, waterfall and more. The Butcher & The Bar and beer: On Feb. 5, from 6-9 p.m., join Mathews Brewing Company in Lake Worth as it hosts a beer pairing dinner featuring foods from Chef Daniel Ramos. Ramos was exec chef at Sundy House and exec chef at Quail Ridge Country Club (among other places) before creating Red Splendor, a bone broth and sausage-making venture. Now he’s preparing to open a butcher shop, bar and dining venue (The Butcher & The Bar) in Boynton Beach in the near future. Meanwhile, sit down to a four-course dinner paired with a Mathews beer.
