Dining Specials to Celebrate the Palm Beach International Boat Show

Mega yachts are gliding into Palm Beach this week with the return of the Palm Beach Boat Show on March 25-28*. To celebrate the vast collection of stunning vessels, two local restaurants have created specials that are worth their salt.

The Ben

With the boat show just steps away from its front yard, West Palm Beach’s glitzy hotel The Ben is offering an exclusive view of the event from its rooftop bar and restaurant, Spruzzo. At its ground level restaurant, Proper Grit, you’ll also get to enjoy your meal with waterfront views. Regardless of where you decide to indulge, both venues will debut a platter that includes Waekame salad, tropical crab salad, tuna and salmon sashimi, grouper ceviche and King crab crudo. Now all you have to decide is which wine to pair with this feast.

251 N. Narcissus Ave., West Palm Beach; 561/655-4001;

Avocado Grill

Avocado Grill’s famous Sunday brunch will expand to include Saturday this boat show weekend, with plenty of savory bites to enjoy. Chef Gremaud’s inventive menu never disappoints, so stop in for a bite after you’ve reached your step goal for the day. Choose from spiced lamb sliders, chorizo and manchego stuffed dates and crispy zucchini blossoms among a variety of other options. There will also be live music both days alongside a pop-up outdoor bar that will be a perfect stop before or after the show. Watching the super yachts cruise by on the outdoor patio while sipping on a cocktail will be a great way to end the day.

125 Datura St., West Palm Beach; 561/623-0822;

*To all guests attending the boat show: please note that the event will follow strict COVID-19 requirements included mandatory masks and temperature checks. For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit:
