Guests will gather to hear the inspiring stories of seven local teens who are vying for the Palm Beach County Youth of the Year title. Youth of the year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club members. To achieve this high honor, Club members must embody the values of leadership and service; academic excellence; and healthy lifestyles.

Seven finalists are selected from the Boys & Girls Clubs in Palm Beach County and are awarded four-year Florida Prepaid College scholarship. A county winner, who will be announced at the dinner based on individual speeches as the final scoring factor, will receive a 4-year University Scholarship, including room, board, and applicable fees.

This fun event will be held at The Addison in Boca Raton, Fla. and features “A Night in Monte Carlo” theme, an evening of cocktails, delectable cuisine, dancing, entertainment and more.

Proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton by gathering Boca residents, supporters, and Boca businesses to educate them on the purpose and goals of the Club. The Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton assures that success is within reach of every young person who walks through its doors.  The Club’s goal is that all Club members graduate high school with a plan for the future, demonstrate good character and citizenship, and live a healthy lifestyle.
