Guests are all FTF alumni—both past and present, featuring performers, directors, designers, etc.—all the kinds of people who make FTF possible.

The 25th Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films (SSOF) will announce winners at an exciting red carpet and award show. With entries from all corners of the state, Florida’s largest student film competition will present scholarships, cash and prizes to high school and college winning entries. An international panel of entertainment industry professionals judged student submissions. One deserving Palm Beach County student will receive the Burt Reynolds Scholarship. Entertainer Vanilla Ice will present the eponymous Music Video award. Now in its 25th year, the SSOF has awarded more than $1.6 million. This year, the program boasts an increase award offering, with more than $20,000 in cash, scholarships and prizes.Past celebrity presenters include talkshow host Montel Williams,Cheri Oteri (SNL), Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Howie D.(Backstreet Boys), Leslie Gray Streeter (Palm Beach Post). Celebrities, community leaders and media will be on hand to congratulate Florida’s talented future filmmakers.
