Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. That’s approximately one woman every minute! With this charity event, Gixo and Go Red want to help women to make lifestyle changes and mobilize communities to improve the health of all women.

ABOUT NIKKI NELSON
Nikki Nelson is a mom of two girls, a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and the creator of Donuts & Dumbbells – a body-positive community for women. Nikki loves Gixo because it gives her the flexibility to exercise anywhere and at any time – you can find her working out at a local park or sometimes even in the cereal aisle at the grocery store. She loves being outdoors and south Florida allows her unlimited access to enjoy the beach, parks and water all year round. Once upon a time, Nikki used to be a hip hop radio station intern in NYC and has met her share of celebrities in real life (… like Usher!)
