Kravis Center Film & Literary Club Celebrates Tennessee Williams

There’s dinner and a movie, sure, but how about lunch and a play? Or more specifically, a playwright? But not just any playwright – Tennessee Williams, one of the greatest of a generation.On Monday, March 13th, at 11 a.m., the Kravis Center’s Film & Literary Club meets for Tennessee Williams: Timeless Art from a Tortured Soul. The event includes the showing of the film Suddenly Last Summer with Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn and Montgomery Clift, as well as a discussion of both the life of Williams and his remarkable canon, including A Streetcar Named DesireCat on a Hot Tin RoofThe Glass Menagerie and The Garden District.The discussion will be led by Film & Literary Club hosts Lee Wolf and Julie Gilbert and includes a boxed lunch by Catering by The Breakers.
