Almond Palm Beach Brings Annual Hamptons Christmas Eve Tradition to Palm Beach
Almond Palm Beach
Palm Beach, Fl. – Holiday traditions look a little different to everyone. At Almond Restaurant, Christmas Eve equals 12 wise men, six pigs, one Jewish chef, one Mexican chef, one baby Jesus, and a bunch of cute, deserving kids receiving brand-new pajamas.
The Almond team has been hosting their Annual Suckling Pig Roast for two decades in the northeast, giving their New York area patrons a delicious culinary alternative on Christmas Eve. This year, Palm Beach has the opportunity to get in on the deliciousness while bringing some holiday cheer to children in need across Palm Beach County.
“We get our hands on a few locally raised suckling pigs, roast them, and serve them with a couple of great winter sides and it’s a win for everyone,” says Chef and co-owner, Jason Weiner adding that a portion of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, a local nonprofit providing services to homeless and at-risk families in Palm Beach County. “We will also have our full dinner menu available for dine in and take out to give everyone something to enjoy on the holiday of St. Nick.”
Throughout the year, the artisanal, market-driven menu of Almond Palm Beach features inspired cuisine with an updated twist, ethnic street food, and much more. Local growers such as Kai-Kai Farm, Swank Specialty Produce, Hadaya Spice, Holman’s Harvest, Gratitude Garden Farm, and Odd Produce are always tapped for fresh ingredients whenever possible.
“We’re happy to support the crew at Adopt-A-Family by providing children’s pajamas and holiday cheer. As we say at Almond, there’s nothing cuter than a little kid in footsies,” adds Weiner. Reservations are required (and limited) and can be made by calling (561) 355-5080.
