Broward College Village Square will host the second Dinner at the Square in its series of non-partisan debates featuring guest speakers discussing their views on various issues facing the community. The February dinner will focus on the topic, “No Second Chance: Does Florida Over-Criminalize Juvenile Offenders?”
The goal of Dinner at the Square events is to better educate the public on divisive issues by hosting public forums. This discussion will be a spirited but fact-based civil debate about juveniles who face criminal charges. The panelists are Major David Holmes, Broward Sheriff’s Office, and Maria Schneider, Assistant State Attorney of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court.
