The charming French bistro La Fresa Francesa in Hialeah is hosting an inspired Bordeaux Wine Dinner, celebrating the season with outstanding vintages and a menu to match. On Wednesday, October 18 at 7PM, the exclusive experience will showcase an evening of culinary mastery paired with fine French wine, offering guests the opportunity to savor a four- course tasting menu curated by Parisian-born chef/owner Benoit Rablat. The evening begins with Baked Clams, made with lardons, white wine and coriander, paired with Chateau Beychevelle, Grand Bateau 2021 Sauvignon Blanc, followed by Parmentier de Canard - a dish similar to Shepherd's pie but made with duck confit alongside Chateau Aiguilhe 2016 Cote de Castillon "in magnum". Butter Lettuces seasoned with shallots and vinaigrette serve as a palate cleanser in preparation for the main course, a classic Blanquette de Veau - sauteed veal, mushrooms, Cipollini onions and a cream sauce, served with Goulée by Cos d'Estournel 2016 St Estephe "in a magnum". The gastronomic journey will conclude with a delightful Fig Tart, studded with almonds and topped with Crème Fraîche, and served with Chateau de Suduiraut Lions Suduiraut Sauternes 2017. This one-of-a-kind wine dinner is priced at $150 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity. Seating is limited; advance reservations are required to attend and can be booked online.
