On Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7:30pm, Music at St. Paul’s continues its 32nd Season with the Delray String Quartet performing a program titled, “Anything You Can Do We Can Do Better!” Based on works by female composers, the program will feature quartets by Rebecca Clarke, Elfrida Andree, Amy Beach, and Fanny Mendelssohn. The concert will be performed “in the round” in St. Paul’s Parish Hall, with audience seating on all sides. In the spirit of historical salon concerts, this is an intensely intimate way to experience chamber music! These special reserved-seating programs will be followed by meet-the-artists receptions.
This concert marks the second performance this season of the Delray String Quartet as Artists-in-Residence at Music at St. Paul’s. Seating for the concert is extremely limited, and tickets should be purchased in advance online at www.music.stpaulsdelray.org. (Front row seats ($50) are sold out; a number of $40 seats remain.) Music at St. Paul’s concerts are held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 188 S. Swinton Ave. in Delray Beach. St. Paul’s is handicapped accessible.
