Taking place on Monday, August 8th and every Monday thereafter from 5PM to 7PM, Noche de Art, a weekly Art Residency featuring local artists painting live continues with award-winning artist Ignacio Font. Originally from Puerto Rico, Ignacio moved to Miami and later earned an education in Miami and New York. Ignacio is most known for his contemporary works, driving inspiration from a Jackson Pollock painting. Currently, Ignacio teaches art at a private school in Miami, and creates art whenever and wherever he can. With the support of local Miami arts organization Font Squared, the InterContinental Miami is featuring live artist interaction with Ignacio, and the creation of live art onsite in the lobby of the hotel with works available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public.
