Taking place on Monday, July 18 and every Monday thereafter from 5PM to 7PM, Noche de Art, a weekly Art Residency featuring local artists painting live continues, with an emphasis on PRIDE this month. With the support of local Miami arts organization Font Squared, the Intercontinental Miami is featuring live artist interaction with self-taught artist Melinda Gallop, who is known for crafting her pieces without a paint brush. Instead, she uses her hands, a sea sponge, and cardboard to move paint and other media across a canvas. For more than a decade, Melinda has traveled the country, creating and selling her original works. Melinda will be in residence every Monday throughout the month of July, with works available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public.
