Wynwood’s about to witness a seismic event worthy of the Lombardi trophy… and Tom Brady’s six rings (#toosoon?). Right in time for the Big Game, SWARM is thrilled to announce the first-ever Super Fan Fest presented by AT&T, a four-day championship party featuring live concerts, DJs, football-themed activations, sports bars and, as befitting a proper Miami throwdown, a Caja China tailgate experience. The family-friendly event is free and will take place January 30 – February 2 at The Wynwood Marketplace.
“Bringing Super Fan Fest to Wynwood was a no-brainer. The neighborhood is at the center of culture and nightlife here in Miami and draws people from all around the city,” said Tony Albelo, CEO of SWARM “Our goal for Super Fan Fest is to bring the energy of the Big Game straight to the people of Miami — without the cost.”
Super Fan Fest is bringing the game to locals and visitors alike, with football field-sized amounts of interactive fun. Along with DJs spinning throughout the four days, guests can jam out to the free concerts available Thursday through Friday beginning at 8 p.m. on the AT&T Elevate Main Stage. The event will also feature scheduled autograph signings with Ricky Williams and Dennis Rodman.
Fans and pro bowlers in the making can test their skills on the Field of Dreams, where scoring a touchdown is the goal of the day. Feel the need for speed? The Thread the Needle and Fast on Your Feet challenge will prove just how quick those Nikes really move. For those curious about how they stack up against football’s biggest stars, Measure Up recreates a professional football player’s locker room, complete with authentic football gear such as shoes, helmets and shoulder pads that can be tried on.
Everyone knows that beer and football make the best teammates. That’s why Super Fan Fest has several options for kicking back with an icy cold brew. At Punts and Pints, a beer garden awaits with a full selection of suds from the Anheuser Busch portfolio. The Bud Light Sports Deck offers a more classic sports bar vibe, with an abundance of TVs and signature drinks — including a special Bud Light Super Bowl commemorative can. Super Fan Fest attendees can also opt to gather at the Front of House Bar and kick back with a drink and some good company.
Need some grub to go with that beer? Patagonia Beer and Food Hall will be dishing up gourmet treats from all around Miami, while The Caja China Endzone Presented by Jim Beam and Cruzan Rum lets vehicles gather and barbeque for a true tailgate vibe. The experience will also feature daily workshops by award-winning grill masters sharing their pro tips on grilling at home or at The Big Game.
Finally, if there aren’t pics, did it really happen? Nah — that’s why Super Fan Fest will include two photo-op stations: a 3D “Welcome to Miami” postcard and an iconic Miami Beach lifeguard station.
While Super Fan Fest is free to the public, a limited amount of VIP tickets will be sold online and at the event. The tickets, which cost $89 and $119, include front of stage access, luxury, air-conditioned restrooms, entry to the Stagefront VIP lounge, a commemorative VIP credential, a private entrance and bar. The $89 ticket includes one premium beverage at the private bar while the $119 price allows guests to enjoy unlimited sponsored cocktails, spirits, beer and wine from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
