Royal Blues Hotel, Florida’s only Relais & Chateâux property, will be hosting a chef exchange from the iconic triple 5-star Ocean House in Rhode Island. The acclaimed “chef forager,” Chef Paul McComiskey will be “in residence” at Royal Blues during March 1 - 4, bringing a quintessential taste of New England, with a sun-kissed Floridian flare. Here are two highlights from his upcoming residency: March 2: Chef Paul will create a 5-course tasting menu featuring unique products he foraged from the Rhode Island region. Each course will be perfectly paired with an exquisite wine by Royal Blues’ Sommelier, Krystal Kinney. $125 per personMarch 3: Chef Paul will be teaching a very special “Local Cuisine from Local Foods” class, using fresh, locally foraged ingredients to showcase the area’s best bounty, while teaching attendees the art of foraging in Deerfield Beach. $85 per person. The residency will kick-off a visiting chef dinner series at Royal Blues Hotel, where acclaimed Relais & Chateâux chefs will be in-residence throughout spring and summer.
