One more reason why Clematis Street is the county’s epicenter for late night-early morning festivities is the debut of Frankie Fatts (330 Clematis St., 561/373-1837), a 24-hour take-out sandwich joint (window, actually) that should help nourish all those party-hearty folks who have swarmed to the street lately.
The roster of sammies is long, cheap and simple. Six dollar “pressed toasts” include the good ol’ all-American grilled cheese and reuben, while $7 panini include Philly cheesesteak and chicken Parm, and $8 Favorites include a New York steak sandwich with provolone, lettuce, tomato and garlic aioli and a “Double-Wide Debbie” with fried bologna, American cheese and mustard.
That ought to fatten you up.
