Legends Tavern Conjures a Harry Potter-Themed Dinner

Legends Patronus Burger

Fancy a Hogwarts meal? Legends is serving them

I usually don’t report new menus in the area, unless there’s something unique about them. Having a Harry Potter-themed dinner menu is unique, and that’s what the Legends Tavern and Grille in Deerfield Beach has going until Dec. 14.

Available for you muggles are dishes such as the Patronus Burger (elk patty with melted brie, prosciutto and onions, arugula, tomato and tarragon garlic aioli), a Hogwart’s Feast dessert (Harry’s Birthday Cake, mini cauldron cake and pumpkin pastries) and more. Wash those down with Butter Beer, of course, or Polyjuice Potion. All will take you to the Potter world without leaving SoFla.

Michter’s joins with Okeechobee Steakhouse for tasting

One of the oldest bourbon distilleries, Michter’s, was established in 1753 in Louisville, Ken. Folks from there are partnering with West Palm Beach’s Okeechobee Steakhouse – the oldest steakhouse in Florida — for a Tasting Mixer on Dec. 11. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., you will taste a selection of bourbons paired with the steakhouse’s bites. Cost is $45 per person.
