Help Boca Helping Hands Feed Families This Thanksgiving

Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is seeking community support to help feed families in need this Thanksgiving. Last year, BHH’s Thanksgiving Box Brigade program delivered nearly 3,000 turkeys and Thanksgiving meal prep boxes, and is projected to feed more than 3,200 this year. But with inflation sending food prices soaring to their highest in decades, BHH is asking community members to get involved by donating the cost of one meal prep box, $31.48.

Turkeys and boxes will be distributed by Boca Helping Hands to Pantry Bag Program clients the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov. 19 and 20) at drive-thru locations in east Boca Raton, west Boca, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Lake Worth. Any donations that exceed the cost of a box will be used to provide food assistance throughout the year to support the 181,000 families throughout Palm Beach County who are facing food insecurity.
