Q: What diseases do you most commonly treat?

I specialize in autoimmune inflammatory disorders, primarily dealing with lupus, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriatic arthritis.  Additionally, I treat osteoarthritis and patients with a variety of diseases that cause joint pain. We offer IV Infusions treatments for many of our diseases as well as intravenous vitamin therapy.

Q: How does the pandemic impact your patients’ vulnerable health?

Our waiting room is kept limited and patients are pre-screened over the phone. Many of my patients are immunocompromised and require biologic medications. These medications can cause more susceptibility to COVID19; however, they are recommended to continue as they stabilize and treat the autoimmune condition itself. Most importantly, I discuss COVID19 symptoms and prevention and offer telemed visits to decrease the risk.

Q: What defines you as a physician?

I thoroughly enjoy helping patients suffering through various diseases and feel a sense of responsibility. I work tirelessly to do what is best for them and focus treatment and prevention by evidence based medicine.  My esteemed academic training combined with my passion for education and research allows me to deliver extraordinary care to my patients.
