Some of us can’t get enough of Downton Abbey. We want to help Lady Mary change her hat, hang out in Mrs. Patmore’s kitchen, or maybe just stroll the magnificent grounds with Lord Crawley. But in the real world, we can inch just a little closer to those daydreams at an evening hosted by 4KIDS with Lady Carnarvon of Highclere Castle (yes, the real Downton) for an “Evening of Restoration” on April 8, 2022, at the Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort in Delray Beach.
Lady Carnarvon lives there, and she’s slated to discuss the grand estate’s restoration during an elegant gala benefitting 4KIDS, a faith-based nonprofit that delivers programs from therapy to foster care for kids in crisis across South Florida.
Kevin Enders, President of 4KIDS said, “We’re excited to bring a story unlike any other to our community. Lady Carnarvon’s journey to restore Highclere Castle is so reminiscent of the journey we see for kids who are in crisis. When the community steps in, it brings new life! And as we work to restore others, we ourselves are restored in the process—and that is the hope I am thrilled to bring to South Florida through this spectacular event.” Tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities are available now at 4KIDS.us/EveningofRestoration.
