Local Chefs to Battle in Culinary Throwdown

Are you ready for a throwdown?

Ready or not, come Tuesday, Dec. 7, a pair of local chefs will go into battle against former Top Chef contestant “Bulldog” Howie Kleinberg as part of the 2010 Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival.

Roy Villacrusis of Kubo Asiatic Cuisine in North Palm Beach and private chef Jeremy Hanlon will take on Kleinberg in the courtyard of 150 Worth, the indoor-outdoor shopping plaza on Worth Avenue. I’ll be one of the judges there so stop by and say hi.

The festival runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and will also include a conversation with TV toque Michelle Bernstein. It benefits the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

Tickets cost $50 per person or $100 per person for VIP tickets, which include a 6 p.m. pre-festival party and food-and-wine goodie bag. To purchase tickets go to www.palmbeachfoodandwinefestival.com.
