Make your child’s imagination come to life through photography

When you have a Boca kid under the age of five, it’s all princesses, pirates and make believe all of the time…or at least it’s that way around our house. I have lost count of how many dress-up costumes and accessories we now own. However, since as a mom I prefer imaginative play above screen time and hi-tech toys, I really don’t complain.

Mermaids are the preferred magical character of choice for my 3 year-old at the moment. We watch a lot of Ariel. So when Forever Studios, located on Federal Highway and Spanish River Boulevard, approached me about bringing my daughter’s mermaid fantasy to life through photography, I jumped at the chance.

Forever Studios recently started offering DreamPics which places a professional photograph of your child within a one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn, color illustration limited only by your child’s imagination. In our case, they would turn my daughter into a mermaid under the sea.

At the studio, they had tons of examples to choose from. Would your Boca kid be interested in a baseball player fantasy? How about an astronaut on the moon? Can they picture themselves exploring the depths of the jungle or moonlighting as a celebrity chef? The choice is theirs!

You can even capture your own images and upload them if you can’t make it to the studio. But, I strongly encourage you to go in person, so the artist has plenty of photographic options! Plus, the experience is a lot of fun.

What do you think of our final print?
